Note: Today's batch is unusually weak — nearly every candidate is a hashtag-spam Short, an ASMR loop, or a clickbait "secret trick" clip. This pick is the least bad of the bunch rather than a strong recommendation.
This one at least names a real, specific skill: vertical stick welding on square tube. Vertical welds are genuinely harder than flat position work — gravity pulls the molten puddle down, so the welder has to control travel speed, rod angle, and arc length carefully to avoid sagging, undercut, or cold lap. On thin-walled square tube the problem gets worse, because too much heat blows through the wall and too little gives you a weak, ropy bead.
If the clip actually demonstrates the whip-and-pause (upward) or weave technique used for vertical-up SMAW, and shows rod angle relative to the joint, it's a useful few seconds of reference footage for anyone practicing out-of-position stick welding on tubing — a common task in fabrication, gates, and light structural work.
Set expectations low: it's a Short, so there won't be voiceover instruction. Watch for rod angle, travel direction, and puddle shape, and treat it as a visual reference rather than a tutorial.
