ADRIFT is the trailer for an independent feature film built around a premise that doubles as a quiet primer on Alzheimer's disease and caregiver dynamics: a man with Alzheimer's wanders away from home, and his disappearance forces the family left behind to confront love, guilt, and the obligations they had been quietly negotiating.

What makes it worth two minutes of your time, even as a trailer, is how independent narrative film often does a better job than clinical material at conveying the texture of dementia — the disorientation of the patient, the slow erosion of household routines, the way guilt accumulates among relatives who can never quite agree on what level of care is enough.
